Annasach is a Scottish Gaelic word meaning different. Nothing exceptional or special. Just different, which felt about right.

I love being a woman. I don't like being put in a box, and I love beautiful things.

​

Somewhere between those, I noticed a gap. Jewellery is so often presented against a beige background, stripped of personality.

​

And when women are given stories, they're usually cast as goddesses or villains, rarely anyone in between.

​

I wanted something else.

​

Jewellery with colour. Designs you won't find everywhere. And a woman behind every piece, neither goddess nor villain, just a person in all her whims, goodness and imperfections.

​

That's all Annasach is, really.

​

My small contribution to the thing I love most: women, and the way they choose to look.
